We specialize in transportation of liquid bulk chemicals such as; Methanol, Formaldehyde, Caustic Soda, Acetic Acid, Glycols, Solvents, Firetrol, Acetic Anhydride, De-Icing fluid, Ethylene, Lignin Liquor, Pozzilith, Ucartherm, Xylene. We provide service to haul intermodal containers. We have been called upon to recover product from chemical spills from trucks and train derailments. We have the skills to recover product from precarious situations safely and dispose of it.

We pride ourselves on our equipment. The way it looks, the way we maintain it and the fact that we have very minimal maintenance or repair problems on the road. Our strict maintenance program eliminates virtually all problems. We feel this is one of our strengths as this increases our reliability and minimizes our downtime. Our fleet consists of 50 tractor units and 100 trailers of varying styles in order to accommodate our customers needs. We have 5, 6, 7 and 8 axle configurations.

The tractors we operate are mainly Kenworths and are built to handle the weather variations of Canada where we do most of our miles, but are also equipped to travel to the hotter climates of the U.S. These tractors are equipped with pumps, positive air shut down and their own cellular for continual communication. We find assigning one driver to one truck is the most effective way to operate. The pride each driver has for their unit is evident in its appearance and excellent operating condition.

Our trailers are all coded to meet or exceed industry standards. These trailers come equipped with Vapor Recovery and Sculley Intellicheck. All our drivers are trained and capable of loading and unloaded a variety of different products making the unit self sufficient when our customers require this service and have unmanned sites.

Boychuk Transport is equipped with a commercial style washbay. This washbay is always busy as Boychuk Transport firmly believes in always having clean equipment because this shows the pride the drivers and staff have for Boychuk Transport and for what we have become known.

Boychuk Transport is committed to a strong safety program to protect it's staff, it's property, the public and the environment from the risk of accidental loss or damage.

All employees, including management, drivers, mechanics and admin staff, are responsible and accountable for the company's overall safety initiatives. It is only through total company employee participation every day in every job that the company can meet the goals of safety excellence.

Management supports and encourages this program by providing all employees with proper equipment, training, and procedures. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely, and wherever possible, improving safety practices.

The company goal is zero accidental loss in the workplace and on the road.

As a member of PIC (Partners in Compliance - www.amta.ca) safety is our mandate. Some of the PIC benchmarks and statistical analysis are: Safety & Driver Qualifications, Reportable Collision Data & Analysis, Equipment Inspection Repairs, Driver's hours of service, Dangerous Goods policies, Vehicle weight and dimension management, IFTA/Treasury Compliance, and Prorate Compliance. The PIC program covers all areas of safe and efficient trucking. We achieve the PIC benchmarks and more.

All our drivers go through a training program before being employed. They learn and are tested in TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), Hazardous goods, DOT procedures, PIC procedures, practical driving test, Drug and Alcohol, Whimis, H2S, Air Brakes Course and the Boychuk Orientation. This is all in an effort to ensure the driver will be in full control of their unit and cargo at all times. All employees are encouraged to take courses that will increase their knowledge and ability to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.

Our service shop is a Licensed Commercial Vehicle Inspection Station. Combine the high level of maintenance we do on our equipment with the high level of training and experience our drivers have and we believe Boychuk Transport to be one of the safest fleets operating on the highways.

We perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections on all our units annually. This ensures the level of safety and mechanical reliability of our tractors and trailers. These inspections are recorded on official Government forms and forwarded to the Government for their records. A sticker is placed in the window of the Tractor and on the trailers for viewing by the transportation inspectors.
